Terms related to Property:

(Does there exist or must exist things, which are free from being belong or being a property?)

  • Legally, morally and/or logically, Property is any thing, if the thing shall be (or is) excluded from an influence by other than the owner/s of the property or those which are permitted due to (or by) the owner/s to influence it, therefor
    • as for the ownership over any Property, when considering 2 distinctions, namely:
      • does its ownership is shared or unshared and
      • does any ownership is only valid until its expired date or endlessly valid,
    • the Property fall into 4 categories ,namely:
        • being either common (as its ownership is shared)
        • or private (as its ownership is unshared)
        • and being either moderated (as any ownership over the property is only valid until its expired date)
        • or at its peak (as at least one ownership over the property is endlessly valid),
      • hence any Property is categorized as one of the 4:
        • 1. common and moderated;
        • 2. common and at its peak;
        • 3. private and moderated;
        • 4. private and at its peak.

Note that property is defined in negative terms, as it is derived from exclusion of influence, such that the ones perceive the concept of property would get be more active in reflection upon expressing what they may loose.

  • State is the one which controls natural and other resources belonging to the individuals being the citizens of the state,
    • hence state is a collective control over resources belonging to the citizens of the state, if all the resources are common Property of all the citizens, where each such citizen is the owner of her/his share in the common Property.
  • Corruption is the act by one or more individuals pretending serving the state, but (in fact) attacking the state for gaining control ( in form of their ownership ) over the resources of the state,
    • where the extent of such attacks is not only limited to properties but also covers any of the interests of the citizens,
      • such that Corruption can also kill by using the agencies of the state.
  • Globalization is a system ruling or attempt to rule (over) dependences between and within states.
  • Centralized and Decentralized systems are of elements performing tasks based on decisions considering information they meet and are distinguished by the following condition:
    • If the main decisions affecting the system are constantly or endlessly made by, and/or are in the possession (as a property) of, the few, as opposed to the many, elements composing the system,
      • then the system is Centralized (thereby its main decisions making is located in its center wherein are the few),
      • otherwise the system is Decentralized.

Assumptions about the performances of Centralized vs Decentralized systems

  • Generally and more evidently in larger scales,
    • centralized systems are
      • less natural/environmental,
      • harder to be formed and/or
      • rarer,
    • hence, centralized systems are more temporal than the decentralized ones.
  • While the centralized ones may be more efficient for
    • achieving in a specific range of time several well defined tasks,
    • such systems, when the knowledge of all is not given to their (few) decisions makers,
      • would reach reduction of their performances with overuse of resources in achieving less defined tasks and,
      • due to the lack of complete tasks definition,
        • would eventually fail undesirably and/or unexpectedly in regard to its decisions makers.

In these respect consideration of property as being moderated is essential for the sustainability of such systems, for their performing of tasks be in more economical manner.
